Veterinary Assistant
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, detail-oriented applicant who is compassionate, up-beat and driven to join our amazing team as a Veterinary Assistant. Our clinic is a busy 6 doctor practice, so applicants must enjoy a fast-paced environment. Our staff focuses on client education and preventative medicine. Strong critical thinking skills, initiative, and the ability to anticipate the needs of patients, clients, and the veterinary team are essential to providing exceptional patient care and client service.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- 1+ year of veterinary experience (Required)
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds unassisted
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Proficiency with computer data entry and basic math
- Ability to work standing, sitting, and walking on hard floors for extended periods
- Professional demeanor with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Certified Veterinary Technician
Job Description:
We are looking for a medically skilled, detail-oriented applicant who is compassionate, up-beat and driven to join our amazing team as a Certified Veterinary Technician. We are looking for someone who is a self starter and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Our staff focuses on client education and preventative medicine. Skilled, critical thinking and the ability to anticipate are essential to help ensure the best patient care and client service is met.
Job Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology from an AVMA-accredited program (required)
- Veterinary Technician Certification (required)
- 1+ year of veterinary experience (preferred)
